My First Post Ever: Mommy Instinct Triggered

This is my first post evaaaaaar from the long and I mean, LONG blogging hiatus since I transferred here from WP. The reason I transferred? I'm simply tired of having to contend myself with what free WP themes can offer - what can a girl do, right?

Anyway, the reason why I'm blogging right now is that I've seen this post on Facebook:

And, I was really moved. Well, I know I'm easily moved by a lot of things, but this one definitely did the trick of making me blog again. It humbled me, as how Tito Boy (yes, I'm talking about Boy Abunda, referencing his interview with Jackie Forster, which is totally out of topic; the line perfectly describes what I'm feeling right now, though) would put it.

You see, I have seen a lot of posts like this in Facebook, and I have LIKED and shared some of them. I even helped spread the word out with #AMommyForRhory  because I always feel like I'm super blessed and lucky to have conceived a healthy child without any complications. But, this post definitely tugged my heartstrings. I don't know why - probably because of the surgeries she's had at a very, very young age? Probably because I've always wanted a baby girl? It's probably because I can only imagine what this pretty, young thing's parents has to go through is going through , especially the mom, seeing their child fighting for her life like this.

To be honest, I'm not okay financially; I may have a job (two jobs even), but I'm as poor as a rat - me still needs to learn the art of budgeting. But, I'd really want to help out and since I believe in the power of social media, and how it can, figuratively, move mountains, I'm blogging about this baby girl right now, and hopefully, my blog could be read by people - good people, financially-able people - if they happen to stumble upon my post.

And now I end this post praying that things will turn out fine for this baby and for all the little angels out there who are definitely putting up a good fight just to see what a wonderful world we have.

PS:
I'll be more active from now on. :)
